Big news for those requiring Medical Massage. Dreamclinic just got accepted into the Regence network and starting January 1, 2011 we are accepting massage and insurance clients under Regence, as well as under other Insurance plans - Uniform, Aetna, Group Health, etc.. We are very excited about this development as Regence is very selective in credentialing for massage.

To get your massage covered by insurance, you need a prescription from a prescribing medical specialist and we need to confirm you insurance-plan benefits prior to your first visit.
We're happy to answer any question you may have about getting medical massage covered by your insurance. Just call us at 206-267-0863 or email service(AT)dreamclinic(DOT)com.
The incredible Dreamclinic community did it again. Our dearly-beloved clients, business associates, and staff all voted at the end of 2010 for Seattle's Best Massage categories on Best of Citysearch and it spoke volumes!

As the name suggests, Cupping Therapy uses a combination of negative pressure and massage movements with the use of a suction device. Cupping therapy is a Negative Pressure technique that is used to achieve a wide range of responses, ranging from extreme relaxation to therapeutic.

A cup is positioned at the area to be treated and, depending on the type of cups being used, a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the underlying tissue into the cup. The suction level can range from light to heavy, and the movements performed by the therapist can be either stimulating or sedating, depending on the needs of the client. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood circulation to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue and releases a myriad pain causing factors.
In keeping with tradition, this fall, Citysearch once again held voting for Best of Seattle in a variety of Health and Beauty Categories, including a number of massage specialties.
On December 3rd, Citysearch announced the winners based on popular voting. Dreamclinic claimed first place in eight out of nine massage categories including Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Thai Massage and others.
Showdown in Vegas
Hearty congratulations go out to the Renton Ravens who just competed for the National championship in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 18th against the Las Vegas Demolition.

The Renton Ravens won the championship 32-29, playing in scorching heat against the previously undefeated Demolition on their home turf in what turned out to be a thriller.
"This was a huge and very emotional accomplishment for us", said Charles Fedd, defensive end with the Ravens (and a Dreamclinic massage therapist) "Having first won the League championship, then the Bowl championship, and now the National Title, it's been a magical season."
The Renton Ravens of the Cascade Football League were also chosen as the comeback team of the year by their league. Way to go, Ravens, and Charles-we are proud of you!

It's been so popular, we've extended it through 2011!

Dreamclinic is participating in this year's Big Climb to help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
We're excited that our 4-person team will join several thousand others in climbing 69 flights of stairs in the Columbia tower in downtown Seattle Sunday, March 22.
This is one of the Society's biggest fundraisers annually, raising over $1 Million last year. Especially in these tough times it is uplifting to see so many willing to put in their time, money, and sweat to help their community!
